Priceline Haul!

Hi everyone,
Before I get into my post, I just wanted to share a life update with you all...

Yesterday my phone broke, the screen totally shattered. I was at school at the time and it upset me so much! Luckily I get it fixed tomorrow.

Anyway, so after this I was in desperate need of some retail therapy and just my luck because the latest Priceline sale started!

Today's purchases included:
- Australis Makeup Finishing Spritz
- Innoxa Summer Matte Lipstick ~ Fushia
- Australis Conceal Correct 4 in 1 Palette
- Australis 'Oh Hai Brow!' Shaping kit
- Australis 'Matte Me' Lipstick Mattifying Base
- Rimmel Scandal Eyes Mascara by Kate Moss
- Face of Australia Budge Proof Gel Eyeliner ~ Pure Purple
- Australis velourlips matte lip cream, metallic edition ~ Rhi Rhi Wine-D
- Australis velourlips matte lip cream
            ~ MI-A-MEE
            ~ LUN-DUN

I'm so happy with my purchases and eager to try out these products. The Australis Makeup Finishing Spritz I am already a massive fan of, and if you have been following my blog you'd also know that I already have the Face of Australia Budge Proof Gel Eyeliner in Black and I love the quality. Another re-purchase is the Australis 'Oh Hai Brow!' shaping kit, which is my #1 brow product right now!

Also a fave are the Australis Velourlips Matte Lip Cream range, thus why purchasing three more today. Now I almost have the complete collection, how  exciting!

As for the last few purchases, I am fairly keen to try them out, and will keep you posted on what I think.

I highly recommend checking out this sale; it can be found online and I store at Priceline and I can guarantee it won't last long, even I had trouble getting my hands on some of these products!

I think the best part about this sale is the fact it's not limited to just one brand. The Priceline sale features:
- 30% off Australis
- 40% off Innoxa
- selected Rimmel Mascaras $10
Plus much more !!

Hopefully you all enjoyed this post ~ stay tuned for a January Faves in the next few days!

Thanks guys,

Product Review ~ Rimmel Match Perfection Radiance Foundation

Hi everyone,

Today's post is a review of the Rimmel Match Perfection Radiance Foundation. This foundation was recently featured on my Drugstore Makeup Haul.

Since purchasing, I've used this foundation afew times - however it is not my fave.

The biggest issue that I have with this product is probably the smell, it is overly perfumed which may be an issue for those with sensitive skin.

I found that it didn't have the best coverage, but it is fairly buildable, and easy to blend!

It is definitely one of the more lighter foundations I own and would be perfect for the natural, "no makeup" look.

I find that this foundation is more suited to days that I don't feel the need to be fully covered, or even days where I'm not going out for too long.

I would definitely purchase this foundation again, however the perfume smell of it is a massive turn off.

I would recommend this foundation for those who like a lighter look, this foundation can be found for a great price!

I hope you all found this post interesting, feel free to comment what you think!

Drugstore Makeup Haul

    Hey guys,

So I'm fairly excited about today's post as it is all about my latest "drugstore" haul!
All of the products were half price which made it even better value.

My purchases included:
     - Maybelline Big Eyes Liner
     - Maybelline Matte Maker
     - Rimmel "Keep Calm" Lip Balm in Violet Blush and Berry Blush
     -  Maybelline Big Eyes Mascara
     -  W7 Bronzer
     -  Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation
     - Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin Foundation
     - Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation
     - W7 Prime Magic Face Primer

Some of these products were new to try out, but others are good favorites of mine. Of the products I have not yet tried the Maybelline Big Eyes Liner, W7 Bronzer or the Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation, however once tried and tested I will give my full review on these products.
The other two foundations have become two of my most used foundations to date! The Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin has the best coverage and lasts forever! As suggested by the name it does actually improve the look of your skin, it is honestly my holy grail foundation right now. As for the Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation, I find that this is lighter compared to the Maybelline. It doesn't have as good of coverage but it is build able, it doesn't last as long as the Maybelline either but I find it more suited to days where I'm not going out all day or don't need that full coverage.
The Maybelline Matte Powder has also become a favorite of mine, it blends perfectly and provides a completely shine-free finish. The best part is, it lasts all day!

The W7 primer, out of all, was probably the cheapest. It retails at $4.99. Admittedly, it is not the best primer I have used, but it is great for every day wear and is the best value. When I first purchased this primer I was a little surprised with the consistency as I was only ever used to using liquid primers, however this one is a little thicker which makes it great when smoothing out the complexion.

The final two products from my haul are the  Rimmel "Keep Calm" Lip Balm in Violet Blush and Berry Blush and the Maybelline Big Eyes Mascara.

For anyone who loves the Maybelline Baby Lips "Electro Pop" Lip Balms, you will love the Rimmel "Keep Calm" Lip Balms. They are similar in price and consistency, with the main difference being that Rimmel has slightly more colors in their range.

As for the Maybelline Big Eyes Mascara, I can see this becoming a new favorite! Unlike most mascara's, this one caters for both the top and bottom lashes, and comes in a duo. The top lashes are said to be made to look false whereas the bottom lashes are magnified. So far, I have only used this mascara one, but I am already taking a liking to it!

Of all the products tried and tested, I highly recommend all of them! They are all so affordable!

I hope you all enjoyed this post, I will be posting more very soon.

Face of the Day

Hey guys!

This post is dedicated to my 'face of the day' - makeup for work. As I work in retail I'm not allowed to be too extravagant but I still love looking good!

Products used:
   - W7 prime magic face primer
   - Face of Australia volumising big lash mascara
   - NYX baked blush - BBL10 Lady like
   - Face of Australia budge proof gel eyeliner
   - Rimmel Stay Matte dual action concealer
   - Maybelline shine free loose powder
   - Essence Quattro eyeshadow - 'to die for'
   - Essence brow pencil
   - Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin
   - NYX Jumbo eye pencil
   - Elf wet gloss lash and brow clear mascara
   - Maybelline cover stick
   - Elf highdefinition powder
   - Australis Make Up finishing spritz
My makeup is fairly simple with a focus put on my eyes. The primer is a fairly cheap chemist brand topped with the Maybelline foundation. Concealer was used under the eyes and on red spots, my eyes were set with the elf high definition powder. For the rest of my face the shine free powder from Maybelline was used - this I find is a much lighter alternative to the compact powders. The blush was applied to the apples of my cheeks, it was quite pigmented so a lot of blending was required.

As I have smallish eyes, I always like to make them my main focus so I used the NYX Jumbo pencil as a base with the Rimmel 'Walnut Pearls' eyeshadow over the top, the lighter colour was used in the inner corner of my eye and the darker colour was blended into my lid and crease. Without the NYX jumbo pencil the colour would not be as pigmented as it is and it wouldn't be as long lasting either. The winged eyeliner was done with the Face of Australia budge proof gel eyeliner. This has become my 'go-to' eyeliner as it is easily applied, doesn't make my eyes water, and perfect for long days at work. The final component of my eyes is my mascara. This is the Face of Australia 'Big-Lash' mascara. Recently I rediscovered this mascara and it has become a fave! It's not clumpy and it makes my eyelashes long! Just the way I like them.

The final few products used on my face were for my brows, because I have darker hair I like to fill my brows in to make them more defined, today I used the Essence Brow Pencil and highlighter with the lightest shade from the Essence Quattro Eyeshadow - 'to die for'.
My makeup was then all set with the Australis Makeup Finishing  Spritz which keeps my makeup in place for the whole day!

Here is the final look:

Hopefully you all found this post interesting, please comment feed back or anything you want to see. I will be posting again very soon.
